The project at Macau University involves the Engineering Inspection, FOS assessment and rock joint mapping of the slope below the University campus. We have carried out the FOS assessment using the limited available ground investigation results. The rock head profile has been carefully estimated in the Engineer’s Inspection. The studied feature is a 40m high and over 300m long soil and rock slope. Rock joint mapping has been carried out to assess the existing stability of the rock slope.
