● Contract No. CV/2012/09 Liantang/Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point Site Formation and Infrastructure Works – Contract 3

Chun Wo Construction and Engineering Company Limited has been awarded the contract no. CV/2012/09 Liantang/heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point. The works include the construction of an interchange with four viaducts near Kiu Tau, Fanling for the connecting road to the Boundary Control Point, widening of a section of the Fanling Highway of about 1 km long near the interchange, demolition of the existing Kiu Tau Vehicular Bridge, re-provisioning of the existing Kiu Tau Footbridge, realignment of the existing Tai Wo Service Road West and Tai Wo Service Road East, and associated slope, drainage, sewerage, water, and landscape works. The total contract sum is $2.545 billion and the contract period is from July 2013 to Mid 2018.

W T Chan & Associates Limited was appointed by the Contractor to provide the Independent Checking Engineer (ICE) service for the temporary and permanent works design.
